  • Consumer Agreement
  • I/we the undersigned, recognize that I/we (also referred to as the customer or client) am/are hiring the services of Andrews Weddings to preside over our marriage ceremony in the State of Texas. I/we hereby hire Andrews Weddings to write and preside over our wedding ceremony for the following services, equipment and or supplies.
The couple understands that they must adhere to these times, but they may be extended at the officiant's sole discretion if scheduling permits.

I have read the complete description of what is included in each package, and all questions have been answered to my satisfaction. I, the customer, agree to pay a non-refundable retainer of $100 (one hundred dollars). I realize that payments on my final balance can be made at any time, however; I also understand that the entire balance must be paid no later than 1 week before wedding date. As a rule we do not collect payments on or after the day of services provided. Upon receipt of deposit, Andrews Weddings will reserve the time and date agreed upon in the completed contract. I understand that Andrews Weddings will maintain the original copy of this contract and that I will receive a copy for my files.
Payment Terms: check, cash or Credit Card will be accepted. Please make checks payable to Andrews Weddings. I understand that if my check is dishonored, Andrews Weddings will charge a $35 dishonored check fee.

Legality of Marriage: I understand that it is our responsibility to possess a valid marriage license in the state where the wedding ceremony will take place and that the marriage license must be on the premises when the ceremony is performed and presented to the officiant before the ceremony. We understand that failure to have these legal documents means that Andrews Wedding Ceremonies cannot legally perform the ceremony and is in no obligation to do so. We will consult with my local court/county/city clerk to find the exact requirements for my area. We will take responsibility for researching the exact requirements for my specific situation by contacting the appropriate authorities where the wedding will take place.

Refund Policy: I/we acknowledge that the minimum of $100 (one hundred dollars) paid as a retainer/deposit is non-refundable. However, if Andrews Wedding Ceremonies cancels and cannot preside over the ceremony due to unforeseen circumstances, we will receive a 100% refund on all payments made, unless one of the our other officiates or Andrews Wedding Ceremonies provides a suitable substitute minister to officiate our wedding ceremony. We understand that much of the work Andrews Wedding Ceremonies dedicates to our wedding is prior to the actual wedding. It is also noted that cancellations within 30 days of the wedding date are subject to a total of 75% of the total fee. We also understand that if we cancel our wedding after Andrews Weddings has completed the consultation with us, we agree to pay 100% of the total amount of this contract.

Wedding Date Change: If the wedding date is postponed or changed, the following rules will apply: If Andrews Weddings has the new date available; they will simply change your date and re-reserve it under the new date. However, if your officiant from Andrews Weddings is already obligated for the new date you have chosen, another officiant will be presented to you for your consideration. If we are unable to officiate your wedding on the new date, then the initial security retainer of $100 (one hundred dollars) is forfeited and Andrews Weddings is relieved of all responsibilities set forth in this contract.
General Provisions: I/We agree to acknowledge the services being provided by the Andrews Weddings, in a dignified and respectful manner and if there is any discrepancy regarding services of Andrews Wedding Ceremonies, we should convey that discrepancy to Andrews Weddings in order for the parties involved to reach a mutually acceptable resolution.
